Every child is different and their needs are different.  As a result, there is no one-size-fits-all answer to this question.  Many children with literacy and numeracy difficulties have problems that need considerable reteaching (or 'unteaching' if there is such a word) in order for their brains to remember (and choose to use) correct or efficient techniques, skills or concepts.

In order to be able to have your child assessed for dyslexia or dyscalculia, a minimum of six months' tuition has to have been attended.   However, once the six months' are up, most parents have seen such pleasing improvements in their child's confidence and skill levels, that they elect to continue for another 6-12 months, in order to consolidate on the gains made.  They are so pleased with the progress their child has made

It is always up to the parents to make this decision, however, each child's time allocation and booking is for a term at a time.

For how long will my child need tuition?
